How to Connect to a CEC Telemedicine Visit?

Setting up a virtual visit with your provider is easy.

Please follow the steps below:

Call our main office to make an appointment (516) 622-8888. 

There are two types of Virtual Visits:

Telephonic: you will speak with a Provider over the phone
-OR-
Videovisit: simply download the ZOOM app onto your smart device or computer and connect with your Provider by video.  This is an especially useful option if you need to have a face to face visit with your Provider.

What to Expect During a Telemedicine Visit

A telemedicine visit is similar to an in-office visit, but instead of traveling to see your doctor, you can telephone or video chat with them from home, work, or another convenient location. Our care providers can assess symptoms, make a diagnosis, recommend treatment, provide therapy and send prescriptions to your pharmacy.

Types of Telemedicine Visit Appointments

Our providers offer telemedicine visits in primary care, neurology, psychiatry, dental and addiction treatment services. Some examples of appointments that can be held via telemedicine  include new patient visits, intakes, sick visits, follow-up/maintenance visits, addiction treatment services and hospital discharge follow-up appointments.

Telehealth visits cannot be used for appointments that require physical examinations, such as annual physicals. If you have questions about whether a video visit is right for you at this time, call our office (516) 622-8888.

Cost and Insurance Options

All Medicaid and Medicare plans are accepted. Our office can help you to determine if a telemedicine visit is covered by your insurance provider.
